Our Mission

Our purpose at Heart To Heart Animal Society & Sanctuary is to promote the humane care and treatment of animals through hearts filled with compassion, and to foster respect for the environment. Also, to provide sanctuary, refuge, for special needs, companion animals, and an environmentally safe sanctuary for birds who have experienced habitat loss. We embrace the ethic which recognizes all life as having inherent value and which affirms the interconnectedness of all life. We are a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3), charitable organization.

Our Vision

Heart To Heart Animal Society & Sanctuary desires to see the bonds between humans and companion animals strengthened. A time when every companion animal can be shown true commitment, care, and compassion making the vision a reality that all companion animals born can be a part of a caring, forever home.

Heart To Heart also believes that all people and animals deserve a safe world in which to live. We desire to promote and increase public awareness on various environmental and social issues of importance believing that knowledge is power. It’s our desire to ignite a spark in people’s hearts so that they too can change their lives and communities for the better of all.

We do not accept pets surrendered by owners. When we rescue, we give priority to abandoned, special needs animals, and strays.

Senior Dogs make wonderful companions. At the sanctuary, we know how special they can be. This special lady is 15 years young and acts at least half her age. She is aging beautifully. It’s all about a positive attitude. She hasn’t let 2 massive seizures, 2 bad strokes or a black widow bite to her face stop her from living and living well. She always heals so quickly, it’s almost miraculous. Your giving will enable us to continue meeting the needs of Senior Dogs and the sanctuary animals.
